Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser passed on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 a new program AED incentive program(Chapter 44)to support the purchase of AEDS by offering a cash rebate of up to $400 for each device purchased and installed and is open to small businesses, places of worship, condos, co-ops and non-profit organizations.

1.Fill out the rebate application form here. Within 90 days from the date of purchase of your AED.
2. The AED must be "permanently installed in a publicly accessible location within one hundred fifty (150) feet from the entrance of the building or in another highly trafficked area of the building" and proof of installation provided.
3. There is a maximum rebate of $400 for any one AED and a maximum rebate of $750 total per single address.
4. There must be a Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP) for your AED location. We can help in creating this plan.
5. You must register the AED with the AED registry here:
Equipment Express offers all FDA approved AEDS that are eligible for this rebate. We will help in the creation of your Cardiac Response plan, preferred installation locations of your devices, and help answer any other questions you may have.
